Utility Installation Technician

We are seeking an individual for fiber optic communication line installation in aerial and underground applications. The successful applicant will be working with our team in outside plant installation.
This is a full-time position based in West Point, NE – (part-time, and temporary applicants will be considered)
No travel required.

  • Horizontal Directional Drilling
  • Groundwork for Vault Installation
  • Fiber Splicing
  • Pole Attachments
  • Customer Premise Equipment Installation
  • Excavation
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Basic current technology skills; use of smartphone, tablet & computer, map reading, etc.
  • Ability to skillfully use & complete tasks with power & manual hand tools
  • Willingness to work seasonal overtime
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • *Required – Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Any additional skills are welcome!

Salary:

 $13.00 – $25.00 per hour   (based on experience)
